We have interest in an open version of the D54 so I have made a new main deck where we can keep everything on the lower deck as it is. The cockpit is about one foot wider and the side decks are raised all around. The galley is the same size as before and there is a sunbed aft of a dining area for six to eight people. The forward part of the cockpit is raised and with a similar layout as the 54, which allows standing height in the port cabin below.
With a little less weight and a little less air resistance, she may be able to touch 40 knots and cruise up to 36 knots with triple IPS 600.
